ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia, s.r.o. has started operations in 2006 and the joint venture between Gonvarri and ArcelorMittal (AM) was officially settled in May 2007.
This joint venture operates on the market as a full function JV. It allows both organisation to optimize investment, and advance more rapidly in full utilization of the Steel service centre (SSC), fulfilling the ArcelorMittal SSC network and is an answer to customers requirements in their European development and allowing Gonvarri to get an immediate presence in central Europe, reinforcing the activity of its existing Service Centres in Germany and in Poland.

  • Dedicated customer teams designed to offer a tailored value creation with: global account managers, to steer the global relationship with the client local teams (located in Senica), to manage regional business enriched by global and local technical support to anticipate and facilitate product implementation
  • The material supplied will be always ArcelorMittal material; ArcelorMittal fix added value according to agreements between ArcelorMittal and Gonvarri
  • Global ArcelorMittal Partners clients are listed

  • Gonvarri global approach and negotiation with local teams in order to manage local business
  • Mastercoil supplied; ArcelorMittal will have priority in case of identical material prices

  • The daily management of all customers will be carried out by Senica team (Back Office and Front Office)
